City now Processing Live Scans (updated 10/24/17)

The City now has the entry code necessary to process Cannabis related Live Scans. To make an appointment to have your Live Scan processed at the Blythe Police Department please call 760-922-6111 ext. 0. The fee for the Live Scan is $101.26. At your Live Scan appointment you will need to bring the completed Live Scan Form attached below and a valid Identification Card.

Due to the delay in our ability to process Live Scans we are extending the deadline for receiving receipt of Live Scan to December 15, 2017. The Cannabis Business Permit application is still due by November 17th, but you will have extra time to complete the Live Scan. For your Cannabis Business Permit application to move forward, a receipt of Live Scan must be received by December 15th. If you have completed your Live Scan prior to November 17th please return your receipt of completion with your application.

You may have your Live Scan processed anywhere in the State of California this service is offered. No matter where the Live Scan is processed you must use the Live Scan form attached below. If you go to another agency for this service, you will be responsible for their fees along with a fee to the City of $31.04 for review. The City will not be responsible for any delays in receiving information from the Department of Justice if the Live Scan is not processed at Blythe Police Department.
