The City of Blythe is announcing the start of the application cycles for the 2018-2019 Urban County CDBG program.. These Federally-funded programs are used by the City to provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and the expansion of economic opportunities principally for persons and families with low-incomes.
Application will only be accepted from 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations.
Applications and Application Instructions can be picked up at the City of Blythe, Office of the City Clerk, 235 N. Broadway, Blythe, CA 92225. The project consists of grinding, removal and overlay of asphalt pavement, demolition and construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk and spandrels, and the construction of ADA ramps on 7th Street from Barnard Street to Chanslorway in the City of Blythe, County of Riverside, State of California.
Contractors interested in bidding on this project shall attend a mandatory pre bid meeting held at the Multipurpose Room, City Hall, 235 North Broadway, Blythe, California 92225 on Friday, February 9th, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
Sealed proposals for the work described in the specifications and contract documents will be received at the City of Blythe, office of the City Clerk, 235 North Broadway, Blythe, California 92225 until: THURSDAY, MARCH 1ST, 2018 AT 2:00 PM prevailing local time, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The City of Blythe is seeking proposals from private developers/operators for the long term operation and development of Quechan Park/Marina located near the intersection of the Colorado River and the Interstate Highway 10 (I-10) in the City of Blythe, California. Proposals may include lease and development for the long term operation of a recreational and hospitality-based venture in a marina/park, and should seek to capitalize and/or leverage the site in order to achieve the greatest economic impact, development quality, use and design efficiency for the City of Blythe
The property is approximately 34 acres of land, roadway, boat ramp, lagoon with access to the Colorado River.
Sealed proposals entitled: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO LEASE QUECHAN PARK/MARINA will be received at the City of Blythe, office of the City Clerk, 235 North Broadway, Blythe, California 92225 no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Late proposals will not be accepted.
